2. Courtesy Car – In the event of an accident, Aviva keep you on the move. You will have access to Aviva’s vast network of approved repairers and a courtesy car will be provided for the duration of the repairs. (Optional)
3. Legal Cover – If you need to use it, this will provide assistance to recover uninsured losses, medical losses or damages for injury if you are in an accident that wasn’t your fault. (Optional)

What We Say
Aviva is the largest insurance services provider in the UK. Previously known as Norwich Union or Norwich Union Direct, they are renowned for providing very cheap car insurance quotes, while maintaining a true insurance company stance of good customer service and, most importantly, good car insurance policy coverage.
In our tests, AVIVA Car insurance was pretty cheap for middle aged drivers with over 4 years no claims bonus. The current deal of 2 months free car insurance and 20% online discount does make things very attractive and even for younger professional drivers the aviva deal makes for some pretty cheap renewal quotes.
Aviva are not featured on any price comparison site, like Direct Line, which means they are cutting out the middle man and giving you the best price possible while still getting a good insurance policy.
You should note when you get a quote from Aviva that the quotes do not automatically include Courtesy Car or Physiopherpy, so if you require these, then you’ll need to tick the box and recalculate your quote.
When you’ve had your quote from Aviva, it lets you “compare” prices with some other insurers, but they are all Aviva brands or Aviva underwritten and so while they say it is “independent” the quotes are usually all slightly higher than Aviva direct.
